Lemon Pharm is a wellness brand on a mission to provide natural, flower-based mood supplements through an intuitive mobile experience. We partnered with them to create native Android and iOS applications that go beyond a simple store — an app that helps users identify their needs through expert-designed self-assessment tests, then seamlessly order recommended products. The result is a first-of-its-kind in-app store with self-test functionality that has achieved 50,000+ downloads and growing.
What We Faced
Lemon Pharm recognized that people struggling with stress and low mood often don't know which natural supplements might help them. The existing approach — browsing products without guidance — led to confusion and low conversion. They needed an app that could guide users to the right products through clinically-informed assessments while providing a seamless purchasing experience. The challenge was integrating external services that could handle product management and payments without extensive backend development, while creating a user experience that feels personal, trustworthy, and intuitive across both iOS and Android platforms.
How We Solved It
We built native Android (Kotlin) and iOS (Swift) applications with a Java-based backend API deployed on AWS infrastructure. The core innovation is a self-assessment test engine developed in collaboration with specialized therapists — users answer targeted questions and receive personalized product recommendations based on therapeutic expertise. For e-commerce functionality, we integrated Shopify for product catalog and order management, eliminating the need for custom admin interfaces. Stripe integration enables secure payments with support for memo lists, allowing users to plan future purchases. The entire system runs on AWS with managed PostgreSQL, ensuring scalability and reliability. The UI/UX design focuses on calming, intuitive interfaces that guide users naturally from assessment to purchase.

Discovery & Expert Collaboration
Deep collaboration with therapists and wellness experts to understand the relationship between stress symptoms and natural supplements. Developed the assessment logic and product matching algorithms based on clinical expertise. Mapped user journeys from first-time visitor to repeat customer.
UX/UI Design
Created intuitive, calming interfaces that reduce anxiety while guiding users through assessments. Focused on making the human-app interaction feel natural and supportive rather than clinical. Designed for accessibility across age groups and technical comfort levels.
Technical Architecture
